ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE New amine derivatives of 4-hydroxy-2,1,3-benzthiadia- zole of formula (I):- Image (I) wherein R is a straight-chained or branched lower-alkyl radical, are provided, their pharmaceutically acceptable, pharmacologically compatible acid addition salts and processes for their prepara- tion. The new derivatives of formula (I) bring out an inhibition of adrenogenic .beta.-receptors and are useful for the treatment and prophylaxis of cardiac and circulatory diseases.
