ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Amine-terminated liquid polymers are prepared by reacting a carboxyl-terminated or ester-terminated liquid polymer having a carbon-carbon backbone with at least one aliphatic, alicyclic or heterocyclic amine containing at least two primary and/or secondary amine groups. Amine- terminated liquid polymers are also prepared by reacting and acid chloride-terminated liquid polymer having a carbon- carbon backbone with at least one aliphatic, alicyclic, heterocyclic or aromatic amine containing at least two primary and/or secondary amine groups. The novel amine- terminated polymers are useful as cure agents, tougheners and flexibilizers for epoxy resins, in paints and coatings, in sealants and adhesives, and the like.
