ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A neutralized sulfonated thermoplastic polymer comprising a sulfonated thermoplastic polymer having about 5 to about 300 meq. sulfonate groups per 100 grams of said neutralized sulfonated polymer, said sulfonated groups being neutralized with an n-polyalkylene oxide substitute amine. The polymers have useful physical and rheological properties.
