ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to an improvement in the vapor phase catalytic production of an amine by the reaction of a mixture comprising ethylene and ammonia. The improvement which provides for high selectivity to the amine resides in the use of an acidic erionite or clinoptilolite or mixtures thereof as the catalyst.
