Provided is a novel active oxygen-resisting agent which has an excellent active oxygen resistance and which exhibits a good solubility in an oil solvent. An active oxygen-resisting agent containing as an active ingredient an amino acid derivative represented by the following formula (I) or its salt (see fig. I) wherein Ar represents a 2-hydroxyphenyl group or a pyridyl group (one or more of hydrogen atoms bound to the aromatic rings of these groups may be substituted independently with a halogen atom, an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a hydroxyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a nitro group, an alkoxyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a carboxyl group), R1 represents a side chain of an animo acid, X represents -O- or -NH-, R2 represents an alkyl group having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms, and n represents 0 or 1.

Nouvel agent résistant à l'oxygène actif, possédant une excellente résistance à l'oxygène actif ainsi qu'une bonne solubilité dans un solvant de type huile. Agent résistant à l'oxygène actif, renfermant comme ingrédient actif un dérivé d'amino-acide, représenté par la formule suivante (I), ou son sel (voir fig. I), où Ar représente un groupe 2-hydroxyphényle ou pyridyle (un ou plusieurs des atomes d'hydrogène liés aux noyau aromatique de ces groupes peuvent être remplacés indépendamment par un atome d'halogène, un groupe alkyle de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, un groupe hydroxyle, un groupe hydroxyalkyle de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, un groupe nitro, un groupe alcoxy de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone ou un groupe carboxyle), R1 représente une chaîne latérale d'un amino-acide, X représente -O- ou -NH-, R2 représente un groupe alkyle de 8 à 22 atomes de carbone, et n est 0 ou 1.
