Compounds of formula (I) wherein R represents (i) phenyl, benzothiazolyl or a six-membered heterocyclic aromatic ring containing 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms, which phenyl, benzo ring of the benzothiazolyl or heterocyclic aromatic ring is optionally substituted by alkyl C1 to 6, alkoxy C1 to 6, halogen, hydroxy, thioalkyl C1 to 6, benzyloxy, or a group -Q(CH2)pNR4R5; or (ii) alkyl C1 to 8, cycloalkyl C3 to 8, alkynyl C2 to 8, piperidyl, phenylalkyl C7 to 14, which alkyl, cylcoalkyl, alkynyl, or piperidyl is optionally substituted by a group - (CH2)pNR4R5, the phenylalkyl being optionally substituted by a group - (CH2)pNR4R5, alkyl C1 to 6, alkoxy C1 to 6, halogen or nitro; or (iii) a five- membered heterocyclic aromatic ring containing 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from O, N or S, optionally substituted by alkyl C1 to 6, phenylalkyl C7 to 14 or halogen; or (iv) hydrogen or phenylalkynyl C7 to 14; Q represents O, NR6 or a bond; R1 represents hydrogen, alkyl C1 to 6, alkoxy C1 to 6, trimethylsilyl or halogen; R2 represents hydrogen, alkyl C1 to 6 or phenyl optionally substituted by alkyl C1 to 6, alkoxy C1 to 6, halogen or hydroxy; R3 represents hydrogen or halogen; R4, R5 and R6 independently represent hydrogen or alkyl C1 to 6, or -NR4R5 together represents piperidyl, pyrrolidinyl or morpholinyl; p represents an integer 1 to 5; and A represents a thieno or benzo ring; provided that when A represents a benzo ring and Q represents O, p does not represent 1; or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, enantiomers or tautomers thereof; have been found to be useful as pharmaceuticals, especially for the treatment of inflammatory disease.

Dans cette formule, R représente (i) phényle, benzothiazolyle ou un noyau aromatique hétérocyclique à six chaînons contenant 1 à 3 atomes d'azote, lesquels phényle, noyau benzo du benzothiazolyle ou noyau aromatique hétérocyclique sont éventuellement substitués par alkyle C¿1-6?, alcoxy C¿1-6?, halogène, hydroxy, thioalkyle C¿1-6?, benzyloxy, ou un groupe -Q(CH¿2?)¿p?NR?4¿R?5¿; ou (ii) alkyle C¿1-8?, cycloalkyle C¿3-8?, alcynyle C¿2-8?, pipéridyle, phénylalkyle C¿7-14?, lesquels alkyle, cycloalkyle, alcynyle ou pipéridyle sont éventuellement substitués par un groupe -(CH¿2?)¿p?NR?4¿R?5¿, phénylalkyle étant éventuellement substitué par un groupe -(CH¿2?)¿p?NR?4¿R?5¿, alkyle C¿1-6?, alcoxy C¿1-6?, halogène ou nitro; ou (iii) un noyau aromatique hétérocyclique à cinq chaînons, contenant 1 à 3 hétéroatomes choisis parmi O, N ou S, et éventuellement substitué par alkyle C¿1-6?, phénylalkyle C¿7-14? ou halogène; ou (iv) hydrogène ou phénylalkyle C¿7-14?; Q représente O, NR?6¿ ou une liaison; R?1¿ représente hydrogène, alkyle C¿1-6?, alcoxy C¿1-6?, triméthylsilyle ou halogène; R?2¿ représente hydrogène, alkyle C¿1-6? ou phényle éventuellement substitué par alkyle C¿1-6?, alcoxy C¿1-6?, halogène ou hydroxy; R?3¿ représente hydrogène ou halogène; R?4¿; R?5¿ et R?6¿ représentent indépendamment hydrogène ou alkyle C¿1-6?, ou bien -NR?4¿R?5¿ représente pipéridyle, pyrrolidinyle ou morpholinyle; p représente un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 5; et A représente un noyau thiéno ou benzo, à condition que lorsque A représente un noyau benzo et que Q représente O, p ne vaille pas 1. On a trouvé que ces composés étaient utiles en tant que produits pharmaceutiques, notamment dans le traitement de maladies inflammatoires.
