Aminophenol derivatives represented by general formula (1), salts thereof or optical isomers thereof, and a gastrin receptor antagonist, a cholecystokinin receptor antagonist and a remedy for digestive tract diseases containing the same, wherein X represents O or S; A represents alkylene; R1 represents phenyl, etc.; R2 and R3 represent each H or alkyl; R4 represents substituted carbamoylalkyl, etc.; and R5 represents substituted amino, etc. The compounds have a potent gastrin or CCK-A receptor antagonism and a high selectivity for one of the CCK-A and gastrin receptor and are useful as a preventive or remedy particularly for digestive tract diseases such as peptic ulcer or a remedy for central nervous diseases.

L'invention concerne des dérivés d'aminophénol représentés par la formule générale (1), leurs sels ou leurs isomères optiques, ainsi qu'un antagoniste du récepteur de la gastrine, et un antagoniste du récepteur de la cholécystokinine, et un remède contre les maladies de l'appareil digestif. Dans ladite formule (1) X représente O ou S; A représente alkylène; R?1¿ représente phényle, etc.; R?2¿ et R?3¿ représentent chacun H ou alkyle; R?4¿ représente carbamoylalkyle alkyle substitué, etc.; et R?5¿ représente amino substitué, etc. Les composés obtenus possèdent un fort antagonisme au récepteur de la gastrine ou de la cholécystokinine-A et une forte sélectivité pour l'un de ces récepteurs, et sont tout à fait indiqués pour prévenir ou soigner notamment les maladies du système digestif, telles que l'ulcère peptique, ou pour guérir les maladies du système nerveux central.
