Two types of aminotriazine-based crosslinking agents are provided. Both crosslinking agents include the ungelled reaction product of (A) a reactive urethane group-containing reaction product and (B) an aminotriazine compound having one or less non-alkylated NH bond per triazine ring. The reactive urethane group-containing reaction product (A) is the reaction product of (1) a polyester polyol, and (2) a mono-isocyanate, for the first agent and the reaction product of (1) a polyisocyanate and (2) a monohydric capping agent for the second agent. Both crosslinking agents are essentially free of urethane NH functionality; the first has a glass transition temperature of at least 25 ~C and the second has a glass transition temperature of at least 10 ~C. Methods for making and using these crosslinking agents are also provided.

L'invention concerne deux types d'agents de réticulation à base d'aminotriazine. Les deux agents de réticulation comprennent le produit de réaction non gélifié de (A) un produit de réaction comprenant un groupe uréthane réactif et (B) un composé aminotriazine présentant au plus une liaison NH non alkylée par noyau de triazine. Le produit de réaction renfermant un groupe uréthane réactif (A) est le produit de réaction de (1) un polyol polyester et (2) un mono-isocyanate destiné au premier agent et le produit de réaction de (1) un polyisocyanate et (2) un agent de blocage monohydrique destiné au second agent. Les deux agents de réticulation sont sensiblement exempts de fonctionnalité NH uréthane; le premier possède une température de transition vitreuse égale à au moins 25 ·C et le second possède une température de transition vitreuse égale à au moins 10 ·C. L'invention concerne également des procédés de préparation et d'utilisation de ces agents de réticulation.
