The invention relates to amphoteric copolymers which contain ethyl methacrylate, optionally, a N-vinyllactame compound, at least one monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and at least one compound having an a,~-ethylenically unsaturated double compound and at least one cationogenic and/or cationic group polymerised therein. The invention also relates to cosmetic and pharmaceutical agents containing said type of copolymers and to a method for the production and use thereof.

L'invention concerne des copolymères amphotères qui contiennent du méthacrylate d'éthyle, éventuellement un composé N-vinyllactame, au moins un acide carboxylique monoéthyléniquement insaturé, au moins un composé à liaison double a,ß-éthyléniquement insaturée, ainsi qu'au moins un groupe cationogène et/ou cationique, ces constituants étant incorporés par polymérisation. L'invention concerne également des produits cosmétiques et pharmaceutiques contenant de tels copolymères, des procédés pour la production de ces copolymères, ainsi que l'utilisation de ces copolymères.
