ABSTRACT An amplifier circuit comprises a capacitor having one side connected to the output of an external circuit and the other side connected to the input of an amplifier. A resistor and series connected switch are connected between the input and the output of the amplifier. The switch is interlocked to a power source associated with the external circuit such that the switch is closed when the power source is turned on and opened when the power source is turned off. The invention permits the amplifier circuit to be enabled without delay even when an external source is operated intermittently.
