The present invention provides a amplifier cover for use in protecting the top surface of an electronic amplifier for electronically amplified musical instruments. The amplifier cover comprises a water resistant plate member for resting on the top surface of the amplifier, a recess in a bottom surface of the amplifier cover for accepting the handle mounted on the top surface of the amplifier casing, a non-slip material arranged on the top surface of the amplifier cover, and attachment means for removably attaching the amplifier cover to a side surface of the amplifier casing for transportation and storage when not in use.
