Abstract Input offset voltage compensation in an amplifier is provided by a feedback capacitor in a feedback loop. For periodically resetting the compensation, the signal input terminal is grounded by an electronic MOSFET switch. Other such switches close the feedback loop in front of the capacitor and connect the output side of the capacitor to ground for recharging. An input capacitor for compensating the switching feed-through charge of the feedback loop switch is connected between the input signal source and the signal input terminal. The ratio of the inherent capacitances of the switches is equal to the capacitance ratio of their respective capacitors.
