The present invention relates to an absorbent article, such as a diaper or an incontinence guard, including a front part (13) and a rear part (14) and a crotch part (15) lying therebetween. The article also includes an absorbent body (1) which is enclosed between an outer, liquid-impermeable casing sheet (7) and an inner, liquid-permeable casing sheet (8) which, when the article is worn, lies proximal to the wearer's body. Located on respective sides of the longitudinal symmetry axis of the article are flexible longitudinally extending flaps (9, 10), each of which is connected along one of its longitudinal edges with the inner casing sheet and which extend transversely in towards the longitudinally symmetry axis of the article from this place of attachment. According to the invention, the flaps (9, 10) are joined together in the crotch part (15) of the article.
Article absorbant, tel qu'une couche-culotte ou une protection contre l'incontinence, comportant une partie antérieure (13) et une partie postérieure (14), ainsi qu'une partie intermédiaire constituant l'entrejambes (15). Cet article comporte également un corps absorbant (1) enfermé entre une feuille externe imperméable aux liquides (7) et une feuille de couverture interne perméable aux liquides (8) laquelle, lorsque l'article est porté, vient au contact du corps de l'utilisateur. De part et d'autre de l'axe de symétrie longitudinal de l'article, deux pattes souples s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal (9, 10) ont été prévues, chacune étant rattachée selon l'un de ses bords longitudinaux à la feuille interne et s'étendant transversalement vers l'axe de symétrie longitudinal de l'article à partir de ce point de liaison. Cette invention prévoit que les pattes (9, 10) sont réunies au niveau de la partie de cet article qui constitue l'entrejambes (15).
