A gluing, sealing and coating compound based on a styrene copolymer is characterised in that the styrene copolymer mainly contains styrene and in that it contains an aromatic compound-free polyalkylene oxide and/or its fatty derivative. These non-toxic plasticisers are easily tolerated and increase stickiness, elasticity and stretchability. These compounds are therefore suitable as binders for producing glues, coatings and sealing compounds.
L'invention concerne un matériau de collage, d'étanchéité et de revêtement à base d'un copolymère de styrène, se caractérisant en ce que le copolymère de styrène contient surtout du styrène et en ce qu'elle contient un oxyde de polyalkylène dépourvu de composés aromatiques et/ou son dérivé gras. Ces plastifiants non toxiques sont très bien tolérés et augmentent l'adhérence, l'élasticité et l'extensibilité. Ces matériaux sont par conséquent utiles comme liants pour produire des adhésifs, des revêtements et des matériaux d'étanchéité.
