The invention concerns an aerobically hardening adhesive based on acrylates or methacrylates with a boiling point of more than 120 deg C at normal pressure, the adhesive containing at least one initiator which forms free radicals, at least one accelerator and at least one siccative, according to the characterizing part. These adhesives are largely odourless and also harden completely at the interface between the object to be stuck and the air, such that the surface is no longer adherent. The adhesives according to the invention are suitable for use in the electrical engineering industry, in particular for bonding ferrites, pole plates and metal housings.
