According to embodiments of the present invention, there are provided an air supply management sub-system and a molding machine incorporating same. For example, an air management sub-system (114) for use in a molding machine (100), the molding machine (100) including a molding sub-system (102) for producing a molded article (108a) and a post-mold treatment sub-system (104) for applying at least one post-mold treatment to the molded article (108a), is provided. The air management sub-system (114) comprises a first source of vacuum (128) for supplying to the post-mold treatment sub-system (104) vacuum at a first pressure; and a second source of vacuum (130) for supplying to the post-mold treatment sub- system (104) vacuum at a second pressure, the second pressure being comparatively higher than the first pressure.
