The present invention relates to airport advertising. Airports are divided into the "landside" to which the general public is permitted and which includes the terminal(s), car parks etc., and the "airside" from which the public is excluded and which includes the runways, taxiing area, apron etc. Billboards (7) which are substantially flush with the ground surface are located in the airside preferably adjacent the runways (2, 3, 4). The billboards (7) are preferably between the runway extremities and a take off/touch down zone (5). Alternatively the billboards are adjacent taxiways or taxiing areas. The billboards can be provided with movable images and/or interior lighting. A typical billboard size is 50 metres x 50 metres (0.25 hectares).

L'invention concerne la publicité dans les aéroports. Les aéroports sont divisées en un <= côté ville >= auquel le public a accès et qui comprend les terminaux, les parcs de stationnement etc., et un <= côté piste >= auquel le public n'a pas accès et qui comprendles pistes, la zone de circulation au sol, l'aire de trafic etc. Des panneaux publicitaires (7) essentiellement encastrés dans la surface du sol sont situés sur le côté piste, de préférence adjacents aux pistes (2, 3, 4). Ces panneaux publicitaires (7) sont situés de préférence entre les extrémités de la piste et une zone de décollage/point de contact (5). Dans un mode de réalisation différent, les panneaux publicitaires sont adjacents aux voies de circulation ou aux zones de circulation au sol. Ces panneaux peuvent être pourvus d'images mobiles et/ou d'éclairage intérieur. Les dimensions d'un panneau publicitaire typique sont de 50 mètres x 50 mètres (0,25 hectares).
