This invention is a dog or animal training apparatus (13) which assists in absorbing and transferring the animal's energy so that the full impact is not felt by the trainer/handler (10). The apparatus provides an elastic member (22A) which is connected between the leash/lead (20) and the animal's collar (23A). If the animal leans into the leash (12), the elastic member (22A) pulls back on the collar (23A) to bring the animal back into line. Should the animal bolt or jump, the elastic member (22A) elongates to keep the immediacy of the impact from being transferred to the trainer/handler (10), and to redirect some of the impact back to the animal to pull the animal into proper position.

L'invention concerne un appareil (13) de dressage d'animaux ou de chiens, cet appareil permettant d'absorber et de transférer l'énergie de l'animal afin que, lorsque le chien tire de la laisse, la totalité de l'impact ne soit pas ressentie par le dresseur/utilisateur (10). L'appareil comprend un élément élastique (22A) qui est relié entre la laisse (20) et le collier (23A) de l'animal. Si l'animal tire sur la laisse (12) l'élément élastique (22A) tire en arrière sur le collier (23A) et ramène l'animal en position normale. Si l'animal se met à sauter ou à courrir, l'élément élastique (22A) s'allonge afin d'éviter que l'impact ne se transmette immédiatement au dresseur/utilisateur (10) et renvoyer une certaine partie de la force d'impact vers l'animal pour le ramener en position normale.
