An anti-clogging nozzle system for a continuous ink-jet printer is disclosed. A printing nozzle (10) has both an ink inlet (12) and an ink outlet (28) permitting constant ink flow behind the nozzle orifice during printing. A pressure sensor (38) monitors the ink flow and signals clogs to an automatic unclogging system (34, 36). The unclogging system includes a control circuit (36) to initiate an unclogging operating cycle when necessary. One of two unclogging modes is employed, both of which require the control system (36) to operate an unclogging valve (34) to vary pressure in the ink return line (28).
L'invention a trait à un système de buse anti-obstruction pour imprimante à jet d'encre en continu. Une buse d'impression (10) est pourvue d'une entrée (12) et d'une sortie (28) d'encre autorisant un débit constant d'encre en arrière de la buse durant l'impression. Un capteur de pression (38) contrôle le débit d'encre et signale les obstructions à un système automatique de désobstruction (34, 36). Ce dernier comporte un circuit de commande (36) destiné à lancer un cycle de désobstruction si nécessaire. Un des deux modes de désobstruction est mis en oeuvre, les deux modes exigeant du système de commande (36) qu'il fasse fonctionner un clapet anti-obstruction (34) afin de modifier la pression régnant dans le conduit de retour d'encre.
