The present invention relates to an apparatus for estimating the air humidity within an oven cavity (14) by using ultrasound waves with at least two different frequencies (f1, f2). Said apparatus comprises at least one ultrasound transmitter (10) for generating the ultrasound waves, at least one ultrasound receiver (12) for receiving the ultrasound waves and at least one phase detecting device for detecting the phase (.phi.1, .phi.2) of the ultrasound wave at the ultrasound receiver (12) relative to the same ultrasound wave with the same frequency (f1, f2) at the ultrasound transmitter (10). Said apparatus comprises further at least one evaluation unit for calculating the velocity (V) of the ultrasound waves on the basis of the phases (.phi.1, .phi.2) and frequencies (f1, f2) of the ultrasound waves with the two different frequencies (f1, f2), at least one temperature sensor (32) for detecting the temperature (T) in the oven cavity (14) and at least one estimation unit for estimating the humidity in the oven cavity (14) on the basis of the temperature (T) and the velocity (V) of the ultrasound waves. Further, the present invention relates to a corresponding method for estimating the air humidity within an oven cavity (14).
Cette invention concerne un appareil permettant d'estimer l'humidité de l'air dans une cavité de four (14) au moyen d'ondes ultrasonores ayant au moins deux fréquences différentes (f1, f2). Ledit appareil comprend au moins un générateur d'ultrasons (10) pour générer des ondes ultrasonores, au moins un récepteur d'ultrasons (12) pour recevoir les ondes ultrasonores et au moins un dispositif de détection de phase pour détecter la phase (f1, f2) de l'onde ultrasonore à l'arrivée au récepteur d'ultrasons (12) par rapport à la même onde ultrasonore, de même fréquence (f1, f2), au départ du générateur d'ultrasons (10). Ledit appareil comprend, en outre, au moins une unité d'évaluation pour calculer la vitesse (V) des ondes ultrasonores en fonction des phases (f1, f2) et des fréquences (f1, f2) des ondes ultrasonores aux deux fréquences différentes (f1, f2), au moins un capteur de température (32) pour détecter la température (T) dans la cavité de four (14) et au moins une unité d'estimation pour estimer l'humidité dans la cavité de four (14) en fonction de la température (T) et de la vitesse (V) des ondes ultrasonores. Cette invention concerne, en outre, un procédé correspondant qui permet d'estimer l'humidité de l'air à l'intérieur d'une cavité de four (14).
