A device for cooling a metal strip (1) is disclosed, comprising at least two opposing nozzle regions facing the metal strip (1) continuously conveyed in the longitudinal direction thereof, with nozzles directed at the corresponding strip surface connected to collector boxes (3) for a cooling gas with flow channels (5) provided between the nozzles for escape of the cooling gas deflected from the strip surface from the nozzle. According to the invention, advantageous cooling conditions are achieved, by a grouped arrangement of nozzles in parallel adjacent nozzle strips (4) with a lateral separation from each other with nozzle openings (7) distributed over the length of the nozzle strips (4) directed at the corresponding strip surface and connected to gas channels (6) which are connected to the collector boxes (3) and the flow channels (5) for escape of the cooling gas flows are provided between the nozzle strips (4) running perpendicular to the collector boxes (3).
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour refroidir une bande de métal (1), lequel dispositif comprend au moins deux champs de tuyères mutuellement opposés relativement à la bande de métal (1) transportée en continu dans son sens longitudinal, ces champs comprenant des tuyères orientées contre la surface de la bande de métal et reliées à des caissons de soufflage (3) pour l'alimentation en gaz de refroidissement. Le dispositif comporte également des conduits d'écoulement (5) disposés entre les tuyères et servant à évacuer les flux de gaz de refroidissement des tuyères déviés sur la surface de la bande de métal. L'invention vise à créer des conditions de refroidissement avantageuses. A cet effet, les tuyères sont regroupées dans des barres (4) de tuyères parallèles, côte à côte et mutuellement espacées, ces barres comportant des conduits de gaz reliés aux caissons de soufflage (3) et dotés d'ouvertures (7) réparties sur toute la longueur des barres (4) de tuyères et orientées contre la surface de la bande de métal. Les conduits d'écoulement (5) pour évacuer les flux de gaz de refroidissement sont montés entre les barres (4) de tuyères s'étendant transversalement aux caissons de soufflage (3).
