The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for leakage testing and/or pressure testing a portion of a pipe (7), the apparatus (1) including at least two spaced-apart packer elements (3, 5) which are arranged to define a volume (10) of fluid in an annulus between said at least two packer elements (3, 5) and the internal jacket surface of the pipe (7), and the apparatus (1) being provided with a means for providing a differential pressure between the fluid volume (10) and a fluid located immediately upstream and downstream of the apparatus (1), and with a means for sensing the pressure of the fluid volume (10). The invention also relates to a method of using the apparatus.
La présente invention concerne un appareil (1) destiné à contrôler les fuites ou/ou la pression dans une partie d'un tuyau (7), l'appareil (1) comprenant au moins deux éléments garniture d'étanchéité espacés (3, 5) agencés de façon à définir un volume (10) de fluide dans un espace annulaire entre lesdits au moins deux éléments garniture d'étanchéité (3, 5) et la surface d'enveloppe interne du tuyau (7), et l'appareil (1) étant doté d'un moyen pour fournir une pression différentielle entre le volume de fluide (10) et un fluide situé immédiatement en amont et en aval de l'appareil (1), et d'un moyen pour détecter la pression du volume de fluide (10). La présente invention concerne également un procédé d'utilisation de l'appareil.
