An apparatus for mounting an anatomical positioner on a patient care platform includes a clamping mechanism for allowing man operator to quickly and securely join the apparatus to the patient care platform. Guide rails are joined to the clamping mechanism. The guide rails extend away from the patient care platform. Slides slidably join to the guide rails to allow the operator to position the anatomical positioner to impart a force on a patient on the patient care platform. The slides include brakes for at least stopping movement in a direction away from the patient care platform, and brake releases for releasing the brakes. Supports join to the slides for supporting the anatomical positioner. The supports have restraints for allowing the operator to quickly secure and adjust the anatomical positioner, whereby the anatomical positioner is positioned by the operator to impart the force on the patient and locked in place.
La présente invention concerne un système de montage d'un dispositif de positionnement anatomique sur une plateforme de soins comprenant un mécanisme de blocage permettant à l'opérateur de fixer rapidement et solidement ledit système à la plateforme de soins. Des rails de guidage sont associés au mécanisme de blocage. Les rails de guidage se prolongent au-delà de la plateforme de soins. Des coulisses sont reliées de façon coulissante aux rails de guidage afin de permettre à l'opérateur de positionner le dispositif de positionnement anatomique de façon à ce qu'il exerce une force sur le patient placé sur la plateforme de soins. Les coulisses comprennent des freins permettant au moins d'arrêter le mouvement dans la direction opposée à la plateforme de soin et des dispositifs de desserrage des freins pour desserrer les freins. Des supports sont reliés aux coulisses afin de supporter le dispositif de positionnement anatomique. Les supports comportent des dispositifs de retenue permettant à l'opérateur de fixer et de régler rapidement le dispositif de positionnement anatomique, de façon à le positionner de telle sorte à ce qu'il exerce ladite force sur le patient, puis à le verrouiller dans cette position.
