An apparatus for processing optical discs and method of transporting optical discs being processed thereby is provided which includes a feeding magazine to constantly feed optical discs onto respective vertically-aligned feeding supports. Subsequent thereto, the discs are simultaneously removed from the feeding supports by means of a transport arm and inserted into a disc processing work station. Once the processing of the discs is completed in the disc processing work station, the transport arm carries the discs onto respective vertically-aligned outlet supports of an outlet station. The processed discs are then removed from the outlet supports and stored in an outlet magazine.
