A self-standing bag containing a generally rectangular-shaped bale of compressed loose material. The self-standing bag 1 has a generally elongated shape with a height and a base section defined by a first side and a second side. The bag is formed from a tube of impervious flexible material defining an enclosure completely enclosing the bale. The bag comprises a flat bottom end, preferably closed by an end seal. The bottom end is normal to a longitudinal axis of the tube and enables the bag to stand upright. The self- standing bag further comprises a sealed top end. A method for producing such a self-standing bag of compressed loose material is also disclosed.
L'invention concerne un sac autoportant, qui contient une balle généralement rectangulaire constituée d'une matière en bourre comprimée. Le sac autoportant (1) présente une forme généralement allongée, ainsi qu'une hauteur et une section inférieure délimitées par un premier côté et un second côté. Le sac est réalisé avec un tube d'un matériau imperméable qui délimite une enceinte enveloppant complètement la balle. Le sac comprend une extrémité à fond plat, de préférence fermée par un scellement terminal. La partie inférieure est normale relativement à un axe longitudinal du tube, ce qui permet au sac de tenir verticalement. Le sac autoportant comprend également une extrémité supérieure fermée. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de production dudit sac autoportant constitué d'une matière en bourre comprimée.
