A winder for winding a web material (22) into rolls (24, 54) is disclosed and claimed. The winder is provided with a winding spindle (28) that is rotatably driven about an axis generally parallel to the cross-machine direction of the web material. The web material is disposed about the winding spindle when the web material is proximate thereto. The winder is also provided with a contact roll disposed adjacent, and contacting a portion of the web material being disposed about, the winding spindle. Each of the winding spindle and the contact roll (30) are capable of cooperative engagement when the web material is disposed therebetween. Both the winding spindle and the contact roll are operatively disposed upon a winding turret (40). The contact roll is adjustable relative to the winding spindle when the web material is disposed upon the winding spindle.
Cette invention se rapporte à une bobineuse servant à bobiner un matériau en bande (22) en rouleaux (24, 54). La bobineuse est pourvue d'un mandrin de bobinage (28) qui est entraîné en rotation autour d'un axe généralement parallèle au sens travers du matériau en bande. Le matériau en bande est disposé autour du mandrin de bobinage lorsqu'il se trouve à proximité de celui-ci. La bobineuse est également pourvue d'un cylindre de contact placé à proximité du mandrin de bobinage et en contact avec une partie du matériau en bande disposé autour du mandrin de bobinage. Le mandrin de bobinage et le cylindre de contact (30) sont chacun capables de coopérer par contact lorsque le matériau en bande est disposé entre eux. Le mandrin de bobinage et le cylindre de contact sont tous deux fonctionnellement placés sur un barillet de bobinage (40). Le cylindre de contact peut être ajusté par rapport au mandrin de bobinage tandis que le matériau en bande est disposé sur le mandrin de bobinage.
