An apparatus (Figure 7) for transferring torque magnetically with a primary rotary member (122) driven by a drive member (124) and a secondary rotary member (120) driven by the primary member by magnetic interaction between the two members. The axial position of the two can be changed.
L'invention concerne un appareil qui permet de réaliser un transfert magnétique du couple à l'aide d'un élément rotatif primaire et d'un élément rotatif secondaire. L'élément rotatif primaire comprend des aimants permanents montés sur le pourtour d'un cylindre, l'élément rotatif secondaire comprenant une configuration géométrique cylindrique et un matériau conducteur disposé sur son pourtour extérieur et parallèle aux axes des éléments rotatifs. L'élément rotatif secondaire comprend également un matériau perméable magnétiquement. Pendant le fonctionnement, deux modes de réalisation permettent de modifier la position axiale de l'élément rotatif secondaire par rapport à l'élément rotatif primaire à l'aide d'une structure mécanique appropriée, ce qui permet de varier le chevauchement axial des deux éléments rotatifs. Un autre mode de réalisation maintient la position axiale de l'élément rotatif secondaire par rapport à la constante de l'élément rotatif primaire. La rotation de l'élément rotatif primaire entraîne la rotation de l'élément rotatif secondaire, étant donné que les lignes du flux magnétique émanant des aimants permanents montés sur l'élément rotatif primaire, coupent la totalité ou une partie du matériau conducteur disposé sur le pourtour de l'élément rotatif secondaire.
