A multi-data content including a moving picture and audio is divided into a plurality of scenes and meta data is created for each of the scenes. It is possible to create meta data containing scene interval information, title, and scene structure information meta data describing the hierarchical structure of the content. Moreover, in order to reproduce meta data appropriately, the meta data is reproduced by using meta data optimization hint information describing the type of the describer contained in the meta data.

Ledit contenu est divisé en une pluralité de scènes et des métadonnées sont créées pour chacune des scènes. Il est possible de créer des métadonnées contenant des informations d'intervalles de scènes, un titre, et des métadonnées d'informations de structures de scènes décrivant la structure hiérarchique du contenu. En outre, en vue de reproduire des métadonnées de manière appropriée, l'utilisation d'informations d'indices d'optimisation de métadonnées décrivant le type de descriptif contenu dans les métadonnées permet la reproduction desdites métadonnées.
