According to the invention, the arrangement includes a horizontally displaceable carrier (4) for the internal vibrator, which carrier comprises means (3, 4) to displace the internal vibrator in a vertical direction. The invention also relates to a method for automatically con- trolling the displacement pattern of the internal vibrator (1).
