The expression station (10) of an arrangement for the transfer of donor blood present in an acceptance bag (1) into a collection bag (2) comprises a mechanical expression unit (11), in which collection bag (2) arranged lower relative to the acceptance bag (1) can be compressed - via a compression drive (12) -between two compression plates that are moveable relative to one another. Thus the expressing of blood containing air or air bubbles out of the collection bag can ensue in a mechanical and standardized fashion after concluding the gravitationally effected transfer and filtration, which simplifies the operation of the arrangement and increases the safety.
