The present invention relates generally to pipette tips that are used to quantify small amounts of liquids. More particularly, it concerns a plurality of low cost interconnected micro pipette tips that are readily separated by melting of the bridges that connect the pipette tips, which can be achieved by autoclaving the filled pipette tip rack containing the above said embodiment. This new invention allows for facilitated and expedited reloading of micro pipette racks in a cost-efficient manner.
