A method of producing an article of luggage characterised by a 'soft' case construction characterised by the steps of moulding from a material exhibiting 'soft' case characteristics lid forming and base forming sections (1, 2) of such construction as to be shape wise self supporting in the absence of a perimeter frame and side, base or back panels whereby the form of the case is established and maintained by the moulded lid and base sections (1, 2); and an article of luggage produced by the method and characterised by a 'soft' case construction including lid and base forming sections (1, 2) of such construction as to be shape wise self supporting in the absence of a perimeter frame and side, base or back panels whereby the form of the case is established and maintained by the moulded lid and base sections (1,2).
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'obtenir un article de voyage caractérisé par une enveloppe "molle" caractérisé par un moulage à partir d'une matière faisant preuve de caractéristiques "molles" formant un couvercle et des sections formant une base (1, 2) pour une telle construction de manière à obtenir un article autoporteur en absence d'un châssis périphérique et de panneaux latéraux, de base ou arrière. La forme de l'enveloppe est établie et maintenue par le couvercle moulé et les sections de base (1, 2). L'article de voyage obtenu par ce procédé est caractérisé par une construction d'enveloppe "molle" comprenant des sections de couvercle et de formation de base (1, 2) de manière à être autoportée en l'absence d'un châssis de pourtour et de panneaux latéraux de base ou arrière fait également l'objet de cette invention. La forme de l'enveloppe est définie et maintenue par les sections de couvercle et de base moulées (1, 2).
