An artificial flagstone for use in combination with other similar flagstones for covering a surface with a natural random look, the flagstone having a generally hexagonal body comprising a first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth consecutive vertices; a first pair of generally congruent irregularly-shaped first and second sides extending radially from the first vertex and being rotationally spaced from each other by an angle a of approximately 120°; a second pair of generally congruent irregularly shaped third and fourth sides extending radially from the third vertex and being rotationally spaced from each other by an angle .beta. of approximately 120°; a third pair of generally congruent irregularly shaped fifth and sixth sides extending radially from the fifth vertex and being rotationally spaced from each other by an angle w of approximately 120°; wherein the sides of each of the first, second and third pair of sides have at least one split deviation along their length and are respectively rotational images of each other, whereby in use in combination with other flagstones, each one of the sides is matingly engageable with the sides of an equivalent pair of sides of a neighbouring flagstone.
La présente invention concerne une dalle artificielle destinée à être utilisée en combinaison avec d'autres dalles similaires afin de recouvrir une surface avec une apparence aléatoire naturelle, cette dalle possédant un corps généralement hexagonal comprenant un premier, un deuxième, un troisième, un quatrième, un cinquième et un sixième sommet consécutifs. Une première paire de premier et deuxième côté généralement congruents d'une forme irrégulière s'étendent également à partir du premier sommet, étant espacés de manière rotationnelle entre eux par un angle alpha d'approximativement 120 degrés, une seconde paire de troisième et quatrième côté généralement congruents de forme irrégulière s'étend radialement à partir du troisième sommet, étant espacés de manière rotationnelle entre eux par un angle bêta d'approximativement 120 degrés, une troisième paire de cinquième et de sixième côté généralement congruents de forme irrégulière s'étendent radialement à partir du cinquième sommet, étant espacés de manière rotationnelle entre eux par un angle W d'approximativement 120 degrés, les côtés de chacune des première, deuxième et troisième paires de côtés possédant au moins une déviation de cassure sur leur longueur qui sont des images respectivement rotationnelles d'elle-même, en utilisation en combinaison avec d'autres dalles, chacun des côtés peuvent s'apparier avec les côtés d'une paire de côtés équivalente d'une dalle voisine.
