An assembly (10) for use in connecting optical fibres to an optical fibre device having input and output tails comprises a plurality of housings (12) for housing optical fibre connections. Each housing (12) is typically mounted to, and supported by a respective routing member (14). The routing members are rigidly connected one to another such that the housings are arranged in an aligned bank. Each housing is pivotable for providing access thereto from the stowed position out of alignment with the other housings.
Ensemble (10) à utiliser pour connecter des fibres optiques à un dispositif de fibres optiques ayant des extrémités d'entrée et de sortie, qui comporte une pluralité de boîtiers (12) destinés à loger des connexions de fibres optiques. Chaque boîtier (12) est monté typiquement à un élément d'acheminement (14) respectif et supporté par ledit élément. Lesdits éléments d'acheminement sont reliés à demeure les uns aux autres si bien que les boîtiers sont disposés de manière à former un bloc aligné. Chaque boîtier est pivotant de manière à en permettre l'accès à partir de la position rentrée dans laquelle il n'est plus en alignement avec les autres boîtiers.
