The invention relates to an air-deflection attachment (26) for an item of protective sports gear (12) worn on the head (14) of a wearer. The attachment includes a deflector portion (28) of unitary substantially air-impermeable flexible construction for location alongside the face and forwardly from an ear (32) of the wearer, and an attachment portion (30) attached to the deflector portion for releasably attaching the attachment to the item of protective gear. The deflector portion is generally in the form of a vertically elongated aerofoil, being for deflecting flow of air past the head of a wearer arising from movement of the wearer in a direction in which the wearer is facing, away from the wearer's outer ear canal opening. The invention extends to a set of attachments, and to a protective sports gear assembly (10).
L'invention concerne un accessoire (26) de déviation d'air pour un équipement sportif de protection (12) porté sur la tête (14) d'un utilisateur. Cet accessoire comprend une partie de déviation (28), présentant une structure unitaire souple et sensiblement imperméable à l'air, destinée à être placée à côté du visage et devant une oreille (32) de l'utilisateur, ainsi qu'une partie de fixation (30) rattachée à la partie de déviation en vue de fixer l'accessoire à l'équipement de protection. La partie de déviation est généralement en forme de voilure allongée dans le sens vertical, et permet de dévier l'écoulement d'air généré aux côtés de la tête de l'utilisateur par le mouvement de ce dernier dans une direction avant, de telle sorte que l'écoulement d'air est éloigné de l'ouverture du canal auriculaire externe de l'utilisateur. L'invention concerne également un ensemble d'accessoires et un ensemble d'équipements sportifs de protection (10).
