An automated unit for the unscrambling and lined up delivery of articles, comprises a plurality of adjacent compartments attached to the periphery of a rotary disk (19) in motion below a peripheral edge of the bottom of a hopper, each of them apt to receive a single article (12) in a lying position, and integrating a discharge chute below each compartment, the discharge chute (15) moving together with the compartment so as to receive the articles (12) that are thus positioned as they fall, and for an ulterior transfer of the articles in a lined up arrangement onto an out feed conveyor, and a member (18) for temporarily holding articles (12) is incorporated in each of the compartments, the member (18) being selectively tiltable by virtue of the actuation of driving means governed by a signal received from position recognition means (17) in order to thus drop articles (12) in a conveniently oriented position into the discharge chutes (15). Unité automatique conçue pour livrer des articles en position alignée et ordonnée. Cette unité est constituée d'un certain nombre de compartiments adjacents, reliés au pourtour d'un disque rotatif (19) en mouvement sous le bord périphérique du fond d'un trémie, chacun de ces compartiments étant conçu pour recevoir un seul article (12) en position couchée. Une goulotte de déchargement faisant partie intégrante de chaque compartiment est située sous chacun d'entre eux, et cette goulotte de déchargement (15) se déplace en même temps que le compartiment pour recevoir les articles (12) qui sont ainsi mis correctement en place au fur et à mesure qu'ils tombent. Cette unité permet également de transférer ensuite ces articles qui sont alignés sur un convoyeur d'alimentation de sortie. Un élément (18) servant à soutenir temporairement ces articles (12) est intégré à chacun des compartiments, cet élément (18) étant sélectivement orientable par la mise en action d'un dispositif d'entraînement commandé par un signal reçu d'un dispositif de reconnaissance de position (17) pour qu'il laisse tomber les articles (12) selon l'orientation convenable dans les goulottes de déchargement (15).
