A fast, efficient and accurate pseudo 2-D inversion scheme (Fig. 4) for resistivity determination of an anisotropic formation (Fig. 3) uses data from a tool (3DEX) (10) comprising three transmitters (101, 103, 105) and three corresponding receivers (107, 109, 111) sampling the formation in a plurality of spatial directions. An initial model (311) of the formation including invasion zones is obtained using a conventional multifrequency and/or multispacing logging tool. A pseudo 2-D inversion scheme combines an accurate full 2-D forward solution (313) of the synthetic responses of the earth model with a 1-D approximation (323) of the sensitivity matrix (317) of the horizontally layered anisotropic background model. The timesaving compared to a regular 2-D inversion scheme can be tremendous.

La présente invention concerne un schéma de pseudo inversion 2-D rapide, efficace et précis (fig. 4) permettant la détermination de la résistivité d'une formation anisotrope (fig. 3) et faisant intervenir l'utilisation de données issues d'un outil (3DEX) (10) comprenant trois émetteurs (101, 103, 105) et trois récepteurs correspondants (107, 109, 111) permettant l'échantillonnage de la formation dans une pluralité de directions spatiales. Un modèle initial (311) de la formation comprenant des zones d'invasion est obtenu grâce à un outil conventionnel de diagraphie à fréquences multiples et/ou à espaces multiples. Un schéma de pseudo inversion 2-D combine une solution avant 2-D complète précise (313) des réponses synthétiques du modèle terrestre avec une approximation 1-D (323) de la matrice de sensibilité (317) du modèle de base anisotrope à couches horizontales. Cette technique permet un gain de temps considérable par rapport à un schéma d'inversion 2-D régulier.
