An elastic laminated sheet of an incrementally stretched nonwoven fibrous web (9) and elastomeric film (13) having a multitude of fibers ending outwardly from the laminated surface and method of making are disclosed. The elastic laminates are especially useful in diapers, surgical gowns, sheets, dressings, hygienic products and the like.
