An electroacoutic communications unit with a receiver transducer in a housing. The communications unit has accoustic connections both from the front side of the diaphragm of the transducer and from its rear side to the area inwardly of the face of the unit for engagement with a user's ear as well as to the area outwardly of this engagement face. These four acoustic connections constitute the four branches of an acoustic balance bridge with the transducer as a generator. This configuration is particularly expedient, as it is hereby possible to reduce the inner air volume in the communications unit behind the diaphragm of the transducer to a size which is without importance for the size of the telephone in practice. Furthermore, variations in the degree of tightness of the engagement of the communications unit with the user's ear will only influence the frequency characteristic to a very limited degree.
On décrit une unité de télécommunication électroacoustique dans laquelle un transducteur de réception est logé dans le boîtier. L'unité de télécommunication comporte des connexions acoustiques qui partent du côté avant du diaphragme du transducteur et du côté arrière et qui sont orientées vers la zone située à l'intérieur de la face de l'unité prévue pour venir se mettre en contact avec l'oreille de l'utilisateur mais également vers la zone située à l'extérieur de cette face de contact. Les quatre connexions acoustiques constituent les quatre ramifications d'un pont d'équilibrage acoustique dans lequel le transducteur fait office de générateur. Cette configuration est particulièrement efficace, du fait qu'il est ainsi possible de réduire le volume d'air interne à l'intérieur de l'unité de télécommunication situé derrière le diaphragme du transducteur jusqu'à une dimension qui est, en pratique,ans importance pour la taille du téléphone. De plus, les variations du degré de contact de l'unité de télécommunication avec l'oreille de l'utilisateur n'influencent la caractéristique de fréquence que dans une mesure très limitée.
