A method of attaching an end seal (20) to a manufactured seed (22). The method including the steps of positioning a first manufactured seed on a surface (42). The first manufactured seed including a seed coat (24) having an opening (12) and an embryo (30) disposed within the opening. The opening having a location relative to the surface. The method further including prestressing an area (38) of a sheet (50) and positioning the sheet on the first manufactured seed to substantially center the area over the opening, such that the embryo is located below the area. The method also including the step of attaching the sheet to the first manufactured seed to seal the opening.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fixation d'un embout obturateur (20) sur une graine artificielle (22). Ledit procédé consiste à positionner une première graine artificielle sur une surface (42), ladite première graine artificielle comportant un épisperme (24) présentant une ouverture (12) et un embryon (30) disposé à l'intérieur de l'ouverture. Ladite ouverture occupe une position relative par rapport à la surface. Ledit procédé consiste également à mettre en précontrainte une zone (38) de feuille (50) et à positionner ladite feuille sur ladite première graine artificielle de manière à sensiblement centrer cette zone au-dessus de ladite ouverture, de sorte que l'embryon soit situé sous ladite zone. Ledit procédé consiste également à attacher la feuille sur la première graine artificielle afin d'obturer l'ouverture.
