An erosion protection device is described which is made of two or more components. Each component has an edge, surfaces on respective sides of the edge and at least one joining portion (a joining portion of a component comprises a recess in the edge and receiving portions on respective sides of the edge). Each recess has a base which is indented relative to the edge, and sidewalls which diverge as they extend from the base out to the edge. The receiving portions diverge relative to each other with the same slope as the sidewalls as they extend from adjacent the base of the recess away from the edge towards the respective surfaces. When joining two components together, a bonding medium is applied to the joining portion on one or both components. The joining portions are then brought together such that the space between the sidewalls and receiving portions of one component and the receiving portions and sidewalls respectively of the other component diminishes thereby squeezing the bonding medium therebetween as the components come together.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection contre l'érosion constitué d'au moins deux composants. Chaque composant comporte un rebord, des surfaces présentes sur les côtés respectifs du rebord et au moins une partie d'assemblage (une partie d'assemblage d'un composant comprend une encoche située dans le rebord et des parties de réception sur les côtés respectifs du rebord). Chaque encoche possède une base indentée par rapport au rebord et des parois latérales qui divergent tandis qu'elles s'étendent depuis l'extérieur de la base vers le rebord. Les parties de réception divergent les unes par rapport aux autres avec la même pente que les parois latérales tandis qu'elles s'étendent adjacentes depuis la base de l'encoche à l'extérieur du rebord vers les surfaces respectives. Lors de l'assemblage des deux composants, un liant est appliqué sur la partie d'assemblage sur au moins un composant. Les parties d'assemblage sont ensuite liées de sorte que l'espace entre les parois latérales et les parties de réception d'un composant et les parties de réception et les parois latérales respectivement de l'autre composant diminue tandis que l'on compresse le liant tout en assemblant les composants.
