An improved enzymatic process for reacting glycolic acid and oxygen in an aqueous solution in die presence of aminomethylphosphonic acid wherein the improvement comprises using a microbial double-transformant cell catalyst that expresses two exogenous enzymes, glycolate oxidase and catalase. By intentionally selecting the exogenous catalase from sources such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae or Aspergillus niger, a heretofore unrecognized inhibition of the catalase by aminomethylphosphonic acid is alleviated.
L'invention concerne un procédé enzymatique amélioré permettant de faire réagir l'acide glycolique et l'oxygène dans une solution aqueuse en présence d'acide aminométhylphosphonique. L'amélioration consiste à utiliser un catalyseur cellulaire de double transformant microbien exprimant deux enzymes exogènes, une glycolate-oxydase et une catalase. Par sélection intentionnelle de la catalase exogène dans des sources telles que Saccharomyces cerevisiae ou Aspergillus niger, on atténue l'inhibition non reconnue jusqu'à maintenant de la catalase au moyen de l'acide aminométhylphosphonique.
