A process for preparing a Portland slag cement is disclosed wherein a conventional cement clinker is prepared and ball-milled for 30 to 60 minutes under dry conditions. Granulated blast furnace slag is reduced to a size ranging between 210 and 100 µm and then wet milled for 5-15 minutes in an attrition mill with a slag-to-water ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 and a slag-to-grinding-ball ratio between 1:5 and 1:15 to obtain a slurry. The slurry is dewatered and dried. The Portland slag cement is obtained by intimately mixing 50 to 95 wt.% of the attrition- milled slag; 4 to 45 wt.% of the ball-milled clinker; and 1 to 5 wt.% gypsum for 15-30 minutes. Also disclosed is a Portland slag cement comprising 50 to 95 wt.% granulated blast furnace slag, 5 to 45 wt.% ball- milled clinker and 1-5 wt.% gypsum.
Divulgation d'un procédé de préparation d'un ciment de laitier Portland pour lequel un clinker de ciment classique est préparé, puis passé dans un broyeur à boulets pendant 30 à 60 minutes dans des conditions sèches. Du laitier de haut fourneau en granules est réduit à une taille allant de 210 à 100 µm, puis subit un concassage humide pendant 5-15 minutes dans un broyeur à frottement avec un rapport laitier/eau de 1/1 à 1/2 et un rapport laitier/billes de broyage entre 1/5 et 1/15 afin d'obtenir une bouillie. La bouillie est déshydratée et séchée. Le ciment de laitier Portland est obtenu en mélangeant intimement 50 à 95 % en poids de la bouillie broyée par frottement, 4 à 45 % en poids du clinker broyé aux boulets et de 1 à 5 % en poids de gypse pendant 15-30 minutes. On divulgue aussi un ciment de laitier Portland comportant 50 à 95 % en poids de laitier de haut fourneau en granules, 5 à 45 % en poids de clinker broyé aux boulets et 1-5 % en poids de gypse.
