A sealing valve assembly is provided for medical products. The valve assembly includes a valve member mountable within a passageway of a medical product body element, the valve member defining a peripheral portion spaced from a central axis and including two walls extending from the peripheral portion toward the central axis, the walls including ends that contact each other to preclude flow through the passageway toward the second end. The valve member further includes at least one stiffening member extending from at least one of the walls to urge the valve member toward the closed position when disposed in the medical product.
L'invention concerne un ensemble valve d'étanchéité pour produits médicaux, qui est constitué d'une valve destinée à être montée dans le passage d'un corps de produit médical. Cette valve définit une zone périphérique espacée par rapport à un axe central et comprenant deux parois qui s'étendent depuis ladite zone vers l'axe central. Lesdites parois comportent des extrémités qui se touchent pour éviter tout écoulement vers la seconde extrémité dans le passage. Enfin, la valve comprend au moins un élément raidisseur qui s'étend depuis au moins une des parois pour faire passer la valve en position fermée lorsqu'elle est placée dans un produit médical donné.
