A buoyant submersible structure (5) adapted to float above the sea floor comprises a support portion to sup-port a load, and a tank (14) being filled with a gas. The tank has an opening, and a tube being connected to said opening so as to be in communication with the tank. The tube is partially filled with sea water defining a water-gas interface (21) at a first level. For operation of this buoyant submersible structure the buoyancy structure is fully submerged below the water surface so as to be floating above the sea floor at a first depth. The sec-ond chamber (20) is partially filled with sea water defining a water-gas interface at a first position inside the second cham-ber. Then, the buoyancy structure is moved to a second depth that is greater than the first depth. Water is allowed to enter the second chamber so as to raise the water-gas interface to a sec-ond level position inside the second chamber higher than the first position and without entering the first chamber (15). Sub-sequently, the buoyancy of the buoyancy structure is adjusted to tension the tendon or cable, a support structure to support a load is attached to the buoyancy structure, and then the buoy-ancy of the buoyancy structure is re-adjusted.
L'invention porte sur une structure submersible flottante (5)apte à flotter au-dessus du fond de la mer. La structure comporte une partie de support pour contenir une charge; et un réservoir (14) qui est rempli avec un gaz. Le réservoir comporte une ouverture et un tuyau, reié à ladite ouverture, de façon à être en communication avec le réservoir. Le tuyau est partiellement rempli d'eau de mer, définissant une interface eau-gaz (21) à un premier niveau. pour faire fonctionner cette structure submersible flottante,ladite structure est entièrement immergée sous la surface de l'eau pour l'amener à flotter au-dessus du fond de la mer à une première profondeur. La deuxième chambre (20) est partiellement remplie d'eau de mer, définissant une interface eau-gaz à une première position à l'intérieur de la deuxième chambre. La structure de flottaison est ensuite déplacée à une deuxième profondeur, supérieure à la première profondeur. On laisse entrer de l'eau dans la deuxième chambre de façon à élever l'interface eau-gaz à une deuxième position de niveau à l'intérieur de la deuxième chambre, plus haute que la première position, mais sans que l'eau n'entre dans la première chambre. Puis, la flottabilité de la structure de flottaison est ajustée de façon à tendre l'élément de tension ou câble, une structure de support pour soutenir une charge est fixée à la structure de flottaison et la flottabilité de la structure de flottaison est réajustée.
