Appliance for collecting orders in warehouses with palletized storage of goods, which appliance is formed by a scoop comprising a support blade with a handle, mounted to a bracket, and provided with a means for suspending it from a hoisting wire of a hoisting installation on an order-collection truck. Preferably, a spring-operated clamp is provided, which serves to engage the top surface of an article carried by the scoop. This clamp may start to operate automatically as a result of the hoisting wire being guided over or attached to an element of the clamp lever and being attached to or guided over an element on the bracket.
