An ostomy appliance body side member or an ostomy appliance comprising an adhesive wafer having a first adhesive surface for securing the appliance to the user's skin, said wafer having a second surface being covered with a carrier sheet which wafer has a hole for receiving a stoma wherein a part of the adhesive wafer surrounding the stoma shows balanced plastic and elastic properties allowing an adaptation of the size of the hole of the ostomy appliance to a stoma by enlarging the hole for accommodating the stoma by rolling up the inner rim thereof forming a torus and wherein a part of the second surface of the wafer surrounding the hole shows surface properties compatible with the first adhesive surface of the adhesive wafer locking the torus to the second surface in its rolled position by the contact between the second surface and the first adhesive surface enables a simple, safe and reliable customisation of the hole of a body side member without the use of tools and at the same time provides means for reducing the risk of causing injury to or constriction of the stoma.
La présente invention concerne un organe d'appareillage stomique côté corps ou un appareillage stomique comprenant une plaquette adhésive comportant une première surface adhésive qui permet de fixer l'appareillage sur la peau d'un utilisateur, ladite plaquette comportant une seconde surface recouverte d'une feuille de support, et étant pourvue d'un trou destiné à recevoir une stomie, une partie de la plaquette adhésive entourant la stomie présentant des propriétés plastiques et élastiques équilibrées qui permettent d'adapter la taille du trou de l'appareillage de stomie à une stomie en agrandissant le trou de façon qu'il puisse accueillir la stomie en enroulant le bord intérieur de ce dernier afin de former un tore, et une partie de la seconde surface de la plaquette entourant le trou présentant des propriétés de surface compatibles avec la première surface adhésive de la plaquette adhésive, permettant de verrouiller le tore sur la seconde surface dans sa position enroulée par le contact entre la seconde surface et la première surface adhésive. La présente invention permet une personnalisation simple, sûre et fiable du trou d'un organe côté corps sans recours à des outils et permet en même temps de réduire le risque de lésion ou de sténose de la stomie.
