An energy conversion device, such as a wave energy conversion device has a diaphragm (30) attached to a frame (100, 110) with opposed lateral edges of the diaphragm (30) being attached to the frame (100, 110) with an "S"-shaped configuration. The diaphragm (30) and frame (100, 110) form a cell (20) for fluid which is driven by movement of the diaphragm to drive a power-take-off device such as a turbine mounted in a duct leading from the cell (20). The diaphragm may be reinforced by cords, preferably vertical cords. Multiple cells (20) may be arranged in a ring, or the duct from one cell may lead to a reservoir or to another cell.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de conversion d'énergie, tel qu'un dispositif de conversion d'énergie d'onde, qui comporte un diaphragme (30) fixé sur un cadre (100, 110), les arêtes latérales opposées de diaphragme (30) étant fixées sur le cadre (100, 110) avec une configuration en forme de "S". Le diaphragme (30) et le cadre (100, 110)  forment une cellule (20) pour un fluide qui est entraîné par le mouvement du diaphragme afin d'entraîner un dispositif de prise de force tel qu'une turbine montée dans une conduite partant de la cellule (20). Le diaphragme peut être renforcé par des cordes, de préférence des cordes verticales. De multiples cellules (20) peuvent être disposées en anneau, ou la conduite partant d'une cellule peut mener à un réservoir ou à une autre cellule.
