ANALOG CIRCUIT IMPROVEMENT IN A DIGITAL INTEGRATED CIRCUIT TECHNOLOGY Abstract of the Disclosure A CMOS integrated filter for analog signals, usually includes a passive network of resistive and capacitive paired elements and a first differential amplifier, for implementing a second order filter function. In such a filter, attenuation of higher frequencies an octave or so above the passband may not be sufficient for the filter to be useful. An operational improvement is achieved by including d second amplifier in the integrated circuit structure for buffering the output of the filter. Buffering is achieved in the second amplifier by voltage following an input of the first amplifier. The improvement reduces capacitive coupling at higher frequencies and thus increases attenuation introduced by the filter at these frequencies. - i -
