ANALOG TO DIGITAL CONVERTER Abstract of the Disclosure An analog to digital converter includes a comparator coupled to a cascade having in serial connection an analog switch, a time delay and an algorithmic coder. The algorithmic coder generates a signal at a first output which is an inverse of a signal appearing at the time delay input and a second out- put which is a selected function of a signal appearing at the time delay input corresponding to a desired conversion. An analog signal to be converted is applied to the time delay in- put and the first and second algorithmic coder outputs are sequentially passed through the cascade.
